Baked Cinnamon Apple Chips

Mommy cored the apples
and then spread a thin coating of butter
on one side of each apple

My buddy Chael was over to play so Mommy got us
each our own mixture of half cinnamon and sugar

Mommy prepped the kitchen for our baking skills
and then lined  baking sheets with foil.

Putting the apple slices on the baking sheets

We have a lot of work to do!

Mommy tried showing us how to "sprinkle" the apples with cinnamon and sugar
but we thought it would be more fun to dump spoonfuls onto each one instead
I also thought it would be fun to pour some on my pants

Chael did a really good job of listening to my Mommy

I continued to think it was more fun to dump
the cinnamon and sugar mixture onto my pants and feet

and try to eat the mixture too!
Here are the directions for Baked Apples if you would like to try baking with your Mommy! My Mommy tweaked the one she had seen online so that ours were a little sweeter. Feel free to do it however you like!
Directions: Have your Mommy core 4 to 5 of your favorite apples (we chose Fuji). Line baking sheet with foil and then put your apples on there. Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each apple slice. Mix 1/4 cup of cinnamon and 1/4 cup of sugar together and sprinkle evenly over apples. Bake at 275 for two hours, making sure to flip the apples over at the one hour mark. Enjoy!
