Snowflake Lane

I was so excited to go to Snowflake Lane this year
I love our family traditions!

Giving Rudolph a high five

Getting a peppermint sucker from the super tall guy
Mommy said he was wearing stilts

sharing a giggle with Mommy

The princess was BEAUTIFUL.
I couldn't stop staring at her when she walked by

and I was thrilled when she stopped, took my hand,
and posed for a picture

Mommy got jealous and so she wanted another picture with me too!
actually, more like three....
I didn't mind though. ;)
Looking forward to next year!

Gingerbread Village

Gingerbread Village 2012 proved to be even more impressive than last year!
The theme is Fairy Tale Castles and we all definitely ooohed and ahhhhed over the
100% candy creations
Brother's Grimm Fairy Tales

Aladdin

My Daddy's company built this one!
The domes are made from blown sugar!

Alice in Wonderland

Beauty and the Beast

Little Mermaid
( mommy's favorite)

Unfortunately Mommy's camera doesn't
do these castle photos justice. If you want to start
a fun family tradition and see them in person,
get directions and 411 at their website:

Thankfulness Tree

Our Thankfulness Tree
In November Mommy asked me each day what I was thankful for.
Some of the things I said were:
1. rocks
2. mommy's bathrobe
3. me
4. shower curtain
5. peach pie
6. my red bike
7. spiderman
8. God
9. tools
10. guns

My favorite thing to say repeatedly was Mommy and Daddy,
which made Mommy and Daddy smile alot!

Marble Fun on a Rainy Day

Developing my fine motor skills
Mommy got this foam block from the Dollar Tree,
stuck Daddy's golf tees in it, and then gave me marbles
to balance on them

putting the marbles on the golf tees without them falling off,
proved to be challenging at first.

Once I got the hang of it, Mommy announced
I had to take them off with  tongs!!
This kept me busy for awhile!!

I was determined to perfect it and spent quite a bit of time
putting the marbles on the golf tees and then taking them off again with the tongs

After that, Mommy cut one of my summer pool noodles
in half and we did marble races
We also watched to see how far the marbles
rolled across the floor after going down their slides

It was a lot of fun!

Fizzle Pumpkin Painting

Mommy found a cool painting activity for me on Pinterest.
Her only hesitation was that we had to use vinegar..
She can't stand the smell and it makes her nauseous.

I began painting my pumpkin with a mixture
 of paint and baking soda

then once my pumpkin was covered in paint,
Mommy gave me a bowl of vinegar and an eye dropper

She showed me how to suck up the vinegar
in the eye dropper and spray it on my pumpkin

Lots of little fizzes took place
I LOVED it!

This is definitely a Toddler Approved project!

I got a little carried away though
this was the last picture Mommy
took before I squirted her with the vinegar on accident. OoPs.

Tower of Babel

I recently learned about the Tower of Babel
in my Preschool BSF class
Mommy then reread the story using -
 the Jesus Storybook Bible.
After that we got my blocks and people out to reenact it!
the people building a tower to reach the heavens

God was not pleased when the people disobeyed Him,
so he confused their language

They stopped building
since they couldn't understand each other.
Then God put the people all over the earth-
Bye Bye Tower of Babel!!
Check out Genesis 11:1-9 in the Bible for the adult version
or get the Jesus Storybook Bible for kids like me!

Trick or Treat

Daddy and Me Trick or Treating
Mommy and Daddy labored many hours creating Daddy's costume,
but it was worth it because Daddy
won 1st Place in a Halloween Costume Contest!

It was my first time trick or treating and I was SO excited..
BUT
Daddy was so popular that he slowed me down!
People kept coming up to him and asking if they could
take a picture or pose with him.
And then other times
his costume was so big, he couldn't fit between the cars
 or walk up the driveway....
I decided to practice my independence
and break away. Candy was calling me!

I got really good at knocking on doors.
I also developed a habit of knocking until they answered.
Group photo of everyone who joined us.
I had lots of fun and scored enough candy to last me a very long time!
