Fizzle Pumpkin Painting

Mommy found a cool painting activity for me on Pinterest.
Her only hesitation was that we had to use vinegar..
She can't stand the smell and it makes her nauseous.

I began painting my pumpkin with a mixture
 of paint and baking soda

then once my pumpkin was covered in paint,
Mommy gave me a bowl of vinegar and an eye dropper

She showed me how to suck up the vinegar
in the eye dropper and spray it on my pumpkin

Lots of little fizzes took place

This is definitely a Toddler Approved project!

I got a little carried away though
this was the last picture Mommy
took before I squirted her with the vinegar on accident. OoPs.

  1. wow! what a fun project and for older kids you can just explain the "fizzy" effect. This is neat - thanks Sarah!

  2. Thanks so much for sharing the link to our site. Glad you enjoyed the project!
