Learning Numbers through Play

Mommy created a car game for me so that I could play
while learning to count and recognize my numbers

Mommy created a parking lot with 24 parking spaces and two roads.
She  then held a stack of  numbers 1-24 that I picked from and matched to  the parking space number.

Once I matched the number to the parking space, I  then chose a car to drive to that number.

24 cars later, I have a full parking lot!
Another variation of the game:
Mommy and I took turns calling out the numbered parking spaces to each other
and then took turns driving our cars into their spaces.

Super Jump Party Zone

I had pizza with my buddy Caleb and then we were off to...

We had a BLAST
(taking a quick break from all the action)

I completely wore myself out, which is hard to do!
I climbed into bed when I got home and didn't bother
 taking my coat or shoes off!

Daddy Date Weekend

While Mommy was out of town for the weekend,
Daddy surprised me with some  Daddy Dates!
He treated me to Ihop and I ate a tasty breakfast of
blueberry pancakes, bacon, and hash browns!

I went on my first lightrail and monorail ride.
It was SO exciting

We then went to the Pacific Science Center and I explored!
Afterwards we went to McDonalds for lunch and I got a Happy Meal.

The next morning Daddy announced we were going to the zoo.
I couldn't stop staring at the gorilla.
 I think the gorilla got mad at me for watching him
because he ran up to  me and started hitting the window with his fists

The penguins were in a much happier mood!

I had a lot of fun spending time with Daddy!

Rainy Day Idea

Mommy surprised me with this stuff to play with...

Can you guess what it is?

No, it's not whip cream...
Although that's a yummy idea though...Hhhmm
maybe I will ask Mommy  to use that next.

It's shaving cream!!!!
I decided to decorate my hair and that's when Mommy announced it was bath time. Mommy said she should have given me less shaving cream. Maybe so, but I sure had fun making a mess!!!

Dried Spaghetti

Who knew dried spaghetti  and chocolate cheerios
could be so entertaining?

I created a tall tower of cheerios while working on my hand and eye coordination

Almost done...

TADA!

Now to take them all off and eat them. YUM!

next up was dried spaghetti in a colander

I had lots of fun doing this and then Mommy gave me
pipe cleaners to use as well.

I decided to get creative and turn the colander over.

This kept me entertained for quite awhile,
much to Mommy's surprise!
