Makeup

like my new look?
I snuck into Mommy's makeup bag and grabbed her brown eye shadow. Unfortunately she caught me seconds after, but not before I took a big lick of it. I thought it was chocolate... Boy, was I wrong!! The eye shadow made a perfect goatee though that I thought was pretty cool!

Movie Nights!

Started a new tradition with my Mommy and Daddy
Movie Night!

Family photo

Cuddling with Mommy while watching Curious George 2

Daddy moved back home earlier this month, which I was thrilled about. I have been so happy, I can't begin to tell you!! One of the things Mommy and Daddy decided to do to bond us together was have a family movie night once a week. I have never watched a full length movie before so I was thrilled when Mommy suggested we watch Curious George 2. We popped popcorn, grabbed blankets, and cuddled on the couch together as a family. It was awesome and I sat through the entire movie! Last Saturday we watched, The Little Train That Could and this weekend I think we are going to watch, Oliver & Company - one of Mommy's favorites! Do you do a movie night with your family? And if so, do you have any movie recommendations?!

Mowing the Yard

Mommy bought me a lawn mower at a garage sale

I decided to go over to Pop's house and help him mow his yard

I was a Big Helper!

Lego Duplo Wall

My Lego Duplo Wall !

Mommy and Daddy were tired of all my Duplos
all over the floor so they came up with a solution

Daddy screwed the Duplo mats to the wall
and then bought bins and a mounting kit at IKEA

Now I have lots of fun building and creating new masterpieces
while keeping my bedroom floor clean
Mommy is happy!

Double Trouble

My buddy Calvin and I have lots of
fun together including getting into trouble!
Our mommies were visiting the other day
and I told Calvin about how my Mommy won't let
me play in the water now that I have my cast on.
He told me about a special place that we could go
to get our hands on some water....
We snuck very quietly into the bathroom and shut the door
We didn't answer our Mommies when they called us either

Unfortunately we got caught pretty quickly,
but it was fun while it lasted!!

With our secret mission thwarted,
we went back to the toys..

better luck next time!!!
Giving our mommies the "Angel" look...
How can you be mad at these smiles?!?!

Touch- A- Truck

Mommy and Daddy took me to the Touch-A-Truck event!

The event offered a hands on opportunity to touch and explore trucks
and vehicles of all different shapes and sizes and
also meet the people who build, protect, and serve our community

Cheese!

Daddy and I waited in line to take a tour of a sewer truck
I got to sit in the drivers seat and beep the horn!

Do you know what kind of  vehicle this is?

It's a Barbie Dream Hearse!
They converted the hearse into a quirky limousine

Mommy was so impressed with the Barbie Hearse
that she climbed inside with me and posed for a pic!

I love Fire Trucks!

They gave away free Cotton Candy at the event
I had never eaten it before, but as you can tell
from this pic - I thought it looked delish...

Oh, and it WAS!!!!

Yummy

Daddy had a couple nibbles too

Can you tell I liked it?

last bite...

ALL GONE!

Fractured Arm

Yes, I am smiling after fracturing my arm
Trust me, having a cast on feels much better than before...
Guess how I did it?
Scroll down to find out!
Chilling on the couch before heading
back to the doctors to get my cast, re casted

They used a big saw to cut my other cast off.
It was really loud and started scaring me

but Mommy distracted me with watermelon
and then Daddy let me watch
Dora the Explorer on his phone

Watching the nurse finish up

I chose the lime green color myself!

I wish I could say I was taming a horse or defeating bad guys when I fractured my arm, but unfortunately I went down a slide and landed on my arm wrong. The doctors say it's a unique break.  I'm not very good at using doctor words but I basically fractured one of the bones between my wrist and elbow. The first cast they put on me was to keep me safe over the weekend until they could get me a more durable, long term cast at Children's Hospital. I will have to keep this cast on for 4 weeks.
It is difficult to climb now and I can't hold big toys like I used too. I also have to stay away from water, which is a HUGE bummer consider I LOVE bath time and playing in my water sensory bin. I also won't be able to participate at the water parks or go to the Children's Museum until it's off. Hopefully it will completely heal after the 4 weeks and I can go back to being a normal boy again!
