Reptile Expo

I couldn't stop smiling when Mommy told
me that Daddy was coming over and
we were going to have a family day at the Reptile Expo!

I was SOOOOOO excited!

"Cool!" is what I said when I started
seeing all the lizards, geckos, snakes, turtles, etc

I got to touch a big lizard

It was awesome!

Next we went to the snakes

I started touching a python and then....

the lady put a huge Python on my Daddy's arm!

I was a little concerned at first

but when I saw Daddy smiling, I started smiling too
The python was very friendly

It even crawled on Mommy!

Next was a tarantula...
Mommy is TERRIFIED of spiders
Daddy wanted to impress Mommy so
he asked the lady to put it on his arm

The guy behind the counter took this picture
because Mommy was several feet back, freaking out!
(She was impressed)

I thought this lizard's color was really cool

We grabbed donuts afterwards at our favorite donut shop
Mommy and I shared some giggles

Eating a frosted, sprinkled covered donut. YuM!

What a FUN day!

Mischief

Mommy told me to use the marker ONLY
on the paper....Do you think I listened???

While she was cooking dinner I thought it would be
fun to color on the mirror....

and on the workbench Daddy made for me....

Mommy was not thrilled and made me clean it all up....

It sure was fun while it lasted.
Now I need to wash my red fingers!

Trains

Trains....

Concentrating hard on lining them up

What can I say other than they are the next
best thing to trucks!

Can you tell I didn't want to share?
I started hoarding the trains
at the Children's Museum....

I was determined to make them all go down
the hill without running off the track

It's not as easy as it sounds, especially when there is a corner
and so many trains to move.
I got very frustrated, especially when Mommy
said I needed to share. I threw a huge temper tantrum....
Temper Tantrum = Time Out
We left shortly after.

Backwoods Bonfire Bark

These four ingredients mixed together are going to make
a very delicious snack!

Mommy melted the chocolate and then I got to "sprinkle"
toppings over it

I got a little carried away with the Teddy Grahams...

and the marshmallows were so good
I "sprinkled" them into my mouth

I decorated the chocolate all by myself
( Actually, Mommy helped a tinsy bit)

We put it in the refrigerator to harden and then we broke it into pieces afterwards
Backwoods Bonfire Bark proved to be a hit with family and friends.
It was gone within a day!

Here is what you need and some directions if you would like to make some yourself!
1 lb. semisweet chocolate, chopped
1 1/2 cups honey bear-shaped crackers
1 1/2 cups of miniature marshmallows
3/4 cup dry roasted peanuts

1. Place chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute;stir. Microwave 1 minute longer until melted; stir until smooth
2. Spread to 1/4 inch thickness on foil lined baking sheet. Immediately sprinkle with goodies; press in lightly
3. Chill until firm. Then break or cut into pieces. Store in airtight container.
4. ENJOY!!!

Hot dog Art

Mommy has been unsuccessful in feeding me hot dogs
 until she created,
Mr. Octopus Hot dog!!!

and his lady friend

Trying out octopus legs...

not so bad...

chowing it down

See, all gone!!!
I ate my first hot dog and actually enjoyed it!

Mommy has tried getting me to eat meat for awhile now and has been unsuccessful except for chicken mcnuggets and the occasional crunchy piece of bacon. Mommy saw a picture of  a hot dog octopus and thought it would be fun to make one for me. She got me! I tried it and actually ate up my hot dog without any issue!

Easter Egg Hunt

I was SOOOO excited to go on my first
official Easter Egg Hunt!

While everyone was looking towards the grass,
I had my eyes elsewhere...

Tree stumps!

There were LOTS inside this one!

I was so excited

I put lots of eggs in my bucket

Check out my stash
My favorite were the red car shaped eggs!

Happy Easter Everyone!
Mommy's friend invited us to an Easter party complete with an Easter Egg Hunt. I had a blast hanging out with my buddies, hunting for eggs, playing at the playground, and eating yummy food. I'm so glad I'm a big kid now. Last year at this time I was still crawling!
