Sick

Being sick is no fun

Eating a Pedialyte popsicle and sucking on a
Little Colds Honey Pop

One positive of being sick....
I get to watch multiple episodes
of Curious George while Mommy cleans everything up!

Three blankets, my favorite teddy bear, one crib sheet, two pairs of pj's, Mommy's clothes, multiple towels, and rags, make up all the stuff Mommy had to wash in the laundry last night while keeping me calm during my stomach flu. I threw up 9x last night, which I think is a record for me. With Daddy not home, it made a very rough night for Mommy. This morning, I figured I might as well get up at my normal time since this coughing/ throwing up was keeping me awake - much to Mommy's dismay. Hopefully I will get better soon!

My Mommy got all of my Sensory Bin stuff at
Dollar Tree,  the Target Dollar Deals Section, and Craft Stores

Dumping it all back in!

My Mommy and her friend Sharon started trading and sharing Sensory Bins each week. I look forward every Monday to getting a new Sensory Bin! It's a lot of fun to have new things to play with. I just gave my friends a dinosaur sensory bin complete with  dinosaurs, fake grass, rocks, and a couple dinosaur flash cards. I will have to share that one with you next time!

Saint Patricks Day

I woke up to this!!!!
Top O' the Mornin Breakfast
Mommy found free printables at:
http://mysisterssuitcase.blogspot.com/2012/03/top-o-mornin-to-ya-st-patricks-day.html

Mommy put clouds on
every piece of pancake.
I was in heaven!

Do you want some?

I sneaked a whole pancake off Mommy's plate
and tried eating that too!

Mommy said a leprechaun visited and left
a special treat for me.
I followed the footprints  to see what was in store

more footprints to follow!
Look what the Leprechaun left me!

SO COOL!!!!

I found the green car in the picture!

Green Hot Wheels Car!!!!

These treats will definitely keep me entertained for awhile
Happy Saint Patrick's Day Everybody!
I missed having Daddy with us while we celebrated Saint Patricks Day. I had lots of fun with Mommy, but it's just not the same without him. Hopefully things work out and Daddy can join us next year!

Saint Patrick Day Activities

Mommy downloaded a free Shamrock printable
from Family Fun
http://familyfun.go.com/printables/shamrock-pattern-for-st-patricks-day-703395/

She then colored, laminated them, and then cut them in half for a matching game!

It was nice to get my mind off things and focus on playing
a new matching game instead!

I  did it!

Next, Mommy created a counting Shamrock game

Not only did we practice counting,
but it helped me learn the color green!

I like fuzzy green pom poms
And yes, that's me stuffing my face with a cookie!

I did it!!!
It has been a tough several days so Mommy thought it would be a good idea to distract me with some Saint Patrick Day Activities. I had a lot of fun matching and counting with Mommy however I would suggest that if you copy my Mommy's idea that you use card stock instead of computer paper. It will hold up a lot better when rough and tough boys like me play with it!

Farm

Feeding horses for my first time!
I was a little nervous but my friend Payton
showed me how!

Mommy helped me lay my hand flat so the horse
would eat my carrot

Look, there's another horse!

I fed the second horse a pear

We fed a goat next!

Hi Chickens!

Here is some food for you too!
Checking out the geese

Payton and I touching bugs on the slide!

Taking turns

Wheeeeeee!

Look at the view
If you look closely you can see Mt. Rainier!

Payton had boots on and started jumping
around in the lake

I wanted to have fun too
so I walked right in with my socks and shoes
before Mommy could catch me!
This week Mommy did a farm theme for me complete with farm puzzles, books, and a trip to my friend Payton's house. We walked around her neighborhood and got to visit and feed several farm animals. Afterwards we walked down to the lake and played on the swing set.  Mommy misplaced my rain boots so I made an executive decision to run into the lake with my socks and shoes on before Mommy could catch me. I'm a fast one!

Baking

Mommy gave these to me to lick off

I thought it would be more fun to hit them
together and have batter fly all over the place

While Mommy was cleaning up the mess,
I got into the sugar

Oooooh boy, it was sweet!

Next I got into the flour....

taste test...

YUCK!!!!!!!!!!
I better get back to helping Mommy mix
the wet and dry ingredients!
I didn't have my trusty sidekick Chael baking with me this time and so I gave Mommy a run for her money. Normally I am pretty focused on our baking projects, but this time around I thought it would be more fun to taste test sugar, flour, fling batter around and dump all the dry ingredients on the floor instead of in the bowl. Mommy tried to rescue our Banana muffins project by adding chocolate chips and walnuts to the recipe. It worked!

Here is the actual recipe:

(and then Mommy added 3/4 cup of chocolate chips and 3/4 cup of chopped walnuts.)
