Box Fun!

There is something funny in this this box

Can you guess what it is?

I will give you another clue

It weighs 27 lbs ...

It's ME!!!!!

Here's the little window Daddy made for me

Having so much fun opening and closing it

Who knew playing in a box could be so much fun?!
Mommy surprised Daddy with a football display case for Valentines Day. They were going to throw away the box, but then decided to make me a little house to play in. It's been over two weeks now and I still play in it everyday!

Garage Sale

Look at the treasures Mommy found for me!

We got everything for $7 bucks!
Mommy is going to paint the wood carrier so I can use it for a tool chest!

This was my favorite find at the garage sale

Getting some use out of our awesome finds!

Being silly
and trying to match the shapes with my eyes closed

Mommy says this is headed over to Grandma's house...
Mommy is an avid garage sale shopper and was surprised to see the church by our house having a garage sale today. We dropped by and scored lots of great things for ME! The lawn mower was my favorite treasure find. The elderly ladies who were in charge of the garage sale found me very entertaining as I ran up and down the aisles pushing my new lawn mower.

Food for Thought

Palm Tree

Fruit is my favorite thing to eat

If I could only eat fruit the rest of my life, I would be the happiest boy on earth!! My current favorites are bananas, strawberries, blueberries and watermelon. Mommy likes changing it up though and surprising me with food art. Her favorite trees are palm trees so she thought she would surprise me with a little palm tree of my own. Good thing this tree is edible, because I'm hungry!

Baking and Crafts

My buddy Chael and I did another baking project together
Stirring the bowl to make muffins!

We helped prep for the muffin batter and also
munched on some tasty chocolate chips

Putting the last one in!

Zucchini - Chocolate Chip Muffins

Mommy was hoping to snap photos of us
coloring and painting
our octopus's ( is that how you spell it plural?)
but two toddlers with paint brushes and orange paint = MESSY!

Here is my octopus made out of a paper towel roll!

Here is the recipe for the zucchini chocolate chip muffins! . They were delish and we devoured them quickly. =)

Ice Cream

Like my new nose job?
Just kidding!
Getting Baskin and Robbins ice cream
with Mommy and Daddy!

Mommy and I split a scoop of Love Potion #31
(White chocolate and Raspberry ice cream swirled with a
raspberry ribbon and  loaded
with raspberry chocolate filled hearts and chocolate chips)

Entertaining Mommy and Daddy

Getting ice cream in February is quite an adventure!
Mommy and Daddy thought it would be fun to visit the library together as a family and then get ice cream afterwards. I was thrilled when we entered Baskin and Robbins and got to help Mommy choose our ice cream flavor. Mommy and Daddy lean towards salty foods in our house so getting sweets is a nice change!

Valentine Party

These Valentine Balloons were awesome

I played with them a lot while I was there!

Sharing donuts and cake with Maddie

Uh Oh. You caught me playing house with pink toys...

Maddie's Mommy gave us all mailboxes to decorate for
our Valentine exchange!

I had a lot of fun decorating mine with stickers

Maddie giving me a Valentine!

Heart breaker to another Heart breaker
I crack myself up

Playing a heart game
We had lots of fun throwing the arrows in!

We all walked down to the pond to feed the birds
Our Daddies' thought that
if they made bird calls, the birds would come a flockin

It didn't work.
They flew away terrified.

Keeping ourselves entertained while we wait for our Valentine....

She's worth the wait, but boy do I have competition!!!

I attended my first Valentine Party hosted by my friend Maddie and her Mommy. I had such a blast I didn't want to leave. I got along really well with the other boys despite Maddie's choice and affection for Lucas and Diego. Hopefully next year I will find my true love....

Valentine Projects

Heart Crayon Valentines
(Directions on how to make are below)

Fingerprint bookmark
( We used free paint chips from Home Depot)

Fingerprint Valentine

Cupid Arrows
( Pretzels and heart gumdrops)

Sprinkled White Chocolate dipped Pretzels!

I had alot of fun helping Mommy with our Valentine projects. My favorite things were the fingerprint projects. I didn't want to stop and at one point got into Mommy's ink pad when she wasn't looking and fingerprinted the hardwood floor....I went to a Valentine Party yesterday and my Valentine Heart Crayons were a hit. Here are the directions if you would like to make some for yourself. You could even use different molds to make them for other holidays too!
Directions: With a knife, cut an entire slit through all the crayon wrappers ( This is a Mommy or Daddy job) and peel off. Cut up crayons in 1/2 inch segments or smaller and then put in a silicone muffin mold for 16 minutes at 235 degrees. Once melted, pull out and cool down before taking them out of the mold. TaDa!!! It's that simple.

Food for Thought

Fruit cars!

Mommy thought it would be fun to make cars out of fruit
since I love playing with cars so much

She used uncooked spaghetti noodles to
hold the "tires" in place

I had fun crashing them together

and then "destroying" (eating) them!
